Pecha Kucha Night (http://pecha-kucha.org/night/miami/15) is a Japanese inspired networking event for creatives, designers and innovators to present their work in public. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat,” it rests on a format of 20 images shown for 20 seconds each. Each presenter has about seven minutes to talk which keeps the event moving and the interest level up. First devised in Tokyo in February 2003 there are now 470 cities around the world with a Pecha Kucha Night.
